What Is A Theft Database?

A theft database is a list of property that has been stolen. A theft database can be a public database in which the public can access or can reside on a private intranet such as what the police and other such law enforcement agencies use.

How To Search The Online Theft Database

To search the theft database for a specific item of which you have the serial number or VIN, simply enter it in the text field above and click "Search." Or, to view the complete theft database item by item, click here.

How Report on the Online Theft Database

If, unfortunately, you need to report something stolen, click the "Report Theft Online Now" button below. This will instantly be posted world-wide and your property theft report will appear on the search engines.

  1. Click the 'Register' link at the top of the page
  2. Enter your information on the registration form
  3. Click the 'Submit' button upon completing the registration form
  4. Open your email that you used for registration and locate the verification email
  5. Either click the verification link in the email body or cut and paste the link in the browser bar
  6. Log in to the Stolen Lost & Found Online website
  7. Click the 'Report stolen, Lost or Found property' link
  8. Select the category and sub-category
  9. Select the 'Report as Stolen' check box
  10. Enter as much information as possible about the theft and click 'Submit'
